Association “Ukrainian Nuclear Insurance Pool” (UNIP) - was established in 2003 in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to fulfill international obligations of the State of Ukraine under the Vienna Convention on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage (1963), the requirements of the Laws of Ukraine “On the Use of Nuclear Energy and Radiation Safety”, “On Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage and Its Financial Security” and “On Insurance”.
The UNIP is a member of Association “Ukrainian Nuclear Forum”.
